Hello!!!!!!!!
Welcome to my Blog; my heart His garden. The ‘His’ is really God. Jehovah, Yahweh, Mukama , Imana to mention but a few of the names He goes by..
Why my heart His garden for a title ? It all comes from Matthew 13:1- 17 which essentially speaks of a farmer going out to plant his seed in the garden. Weird huh ??? What does that even have to do with the naming of this blog? A lot actually!
You see, for the longest time, i sensed God asking me to take my writing to another level, from ink on paper, to a blog, to publishing books and devotionals and much as i said yes Lord, i still didn’t start or act on what He has been asking me to do. Until recently , as i took off time to pray and fast for his direction and guidance about the season , my husband and i find ourselves. ( another blog post, probably).. So as i pray, God speaks to me about this being a season of planting. He is planting seed and wants it to grow and bear much fruit. This is interesting because the picture i clearly saw was my heart as His garden , and the planting He was doing was with His word (seed). So i ask Him what am i to do as He plants, and He reminds me to do what He has been asking me to do, to start this blog.
So dear Reader what you will find on this blog are the different seeds that the Lord will go on planting in my heart. This is a season of Him planting, but there will be seasons of pruning, weeding and even harvesting.. join me and let us see how the Farmer of all Farmers does His thing in this particular garden.. my heart His garden!
